Chocolate Munchies

These awesome refined sugar and chocolate free chocolate munchies recipe you will find below is a bit too sweet for Bade, so I am planning to use dried apricots next time. Then you might ask – who ate them all? I have to say.. my husband and I. I admit with shame. When you have a child with diabetes, eating sweets in secret is a usual activity. Those who say they didn’t either hate sweets or are lying 🙂

Ingredients:
– 1 cup dried raisins
– 5 tblspns tahini
– 3 tblspns cacao
– A handful of raw hazelnut kernels
Instructions:
Soak raisins for at least 1 hour. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour them into muffin papers and keep in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours. Serve with homemade kaymak or any topping you prefer. This recipe makes 5 muffins.
