There were some Peanut Coconut Nougat Bars leftovers in the fridge. I was wondering what to make of it and then I thought of using it as cheesecake base. I admit, this recipe is only for myself!
Ingredients: (Recipe for 1)
For the base
1 tblspnful Peanut Coconut Nougat Bar dough
For the cream filling
1 tblspn melted butter
1 pinch rock/himalayan salt
4 tblspn mascarpone cheese / or homemade cream cheese
1 tblspn carob molasses / or pureed sweet dried fruit of preference
2 tblspn homamade yogurt
1/2 tspn orange zest
For the topping
1 cubed slice of orange
Spread the cheesecake base in a heatproof mug. Mix the cream filling ingredients. Pour inside the mug. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated 150C oven. Cool it and place in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
